Our COVID-19 Response
In light of recommendations for physical distancing, in order to consider the health of our team, our clients and our community, our physical office time may be limited and may be impacted by changing regulations set out by our office of public health. We will accept new clients for consultation service and can offer support by telephone or secure online video session. We will discuss the risks and benefits of telephone and online video sessions with all clients as needed. We may complete some components of an assessment outside of the office via telephone, video and/or mailings (e.g., parent interview, child/adolescent interview, consulting with teachers, document review, report writing, feedback meetings). For direct work with your child, we will arrange office appointments, with adherence to guidelines set out by our public health officials to keep you, your child and our staff safe and healthy. These will be discussed with you when we connect.
Should public health guidelines limit face-to-face contact, assessments (developmental, psychoeducational and psychological) are one service that may not lend well to telephone or online sessions. Cognitive and academic testing is a component of assessments that is best completed face-to-face, and would need to be scheduled within the physical office under safe conditions.
Please contact us if you are interested in any of our services, and if you have any questions about this information. Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to seeing you, whether online or in-person!
